Managing the audit rebuttal and response process is challenging. It is made more difficult as time passes and multiple people are involved. 

The Rebuttal and Response modules organize the process.  Each exception is treated uniquely; due dates can be set to ensure deadlines are not missed, assignments can be made to staff with different skill sets, and the information exchanged with each correspondence is saved in auto-generated folders reducing time needed to research historic activity.

As exceptions are resolved, the exception detail records and summary reporting are updated in real-time.

Generating reports is easy too.  Simply decide whether to include all of the resolution history or just the most recent and then generate the report.

The Exception Response module can easily be accessed on the auditor’s Dashboard.

They will be able to click into any project assigned to them to see all open exceptions awaiting rebuttals and a more details overview on the status of each.

There are similar options to either “Copy”, “Excel”, “PDF”, or “Print” to view the detail of each Exception, but there is also the option to “Receive an Exception” and “Report” in this response module.

Copy will instantly copy all text from each exception and give you the ability to paste the information straight to an email, excel, or word document. Excel and PDF will instantly create and download an excel or PDF document listing each exception while the Print option opens up a dialogue box that allows you to print a hard copy of the exception listing.

Receive an Exception will allow you to create a new response and Report gives the option to combine all the exceptions in a written word document.

Once all the responses are received you will be able to click into each exception to form your rebuttal. There are options at the bottom of each exception to Receive a Rebuttal.

This is where you will prepare the rebuttal and choose either to except the response and close the exception or provide a rebuttal back and keep the exception open. Doing this all in one place to make tracking easy and the report writing easy to consolidate in a summary.
